So hard to say goodbye.

Its that time again.. some of my favorite reality shows are done this week for another season. The Apprentice season finale is on thursday night. I might actually stay in to watch this one... On second thought, I can tape it. I have added some links on the side of my blog to my favorite shows. Everyone should check them out!

I checked into the Martha Stewart Reality show and found this article on it.
Martha Can't wait to see that one! I heard she is kind of mean.

American Idol was rocked by the controversial expose on Paula Abdul last week. Although i was not able to watch it, I heard all about it on the news. Miss Abdul is taking it as best as possible, even making fun of herself on SNL. I personally think people are just trying to make money off of her.

Oh and I also caught Nanny 911 for the first time last week. I am starting to wonder what is happening in this country to the kids. It was scary, the kids were beating up the parents!!! They were demon children!

Another one bites the dust on Apprentice

Bren Posted by Hello

On this weeks episode of The Apprentice Bren was told to hit the road. Teams Magna and Net Worth competed on a Staples design project. The goal was to creat a new product that would make life easier by cleaning up clutter. Bren's team, Net Worth, decided to do a conference call with Staples instead of meeting face to face. This probably would have saved the team time if it had worked. Unfortunately, this idea feel through when the cell phones would not work properly, thus making the conference call impossible. Next, Bren tried to consult business professionals for inspiration and information. This idea also fell through because no one wanted to participate in the teams survey. In the final presentation of the product had a important design flaw and team Net Worth lost. In the board room trump called the product a "piece of crap" and fired Bren. Quickly adding that he felt Bren would go far but that he was forced to fire him. Only three contestants are left and the show is winding down. Who is everyone cheering for?

American Idol Controversy?!?

Anwar Posted by Hello

This week on Fox's American Idol Anwar was booted when he failed to receive enough of America's votes. Only six contestants remain and they will battle it out for a contract... But this isn't the big American Idol news. There are numerous rumors circulating about judge Paula Abdul . Perhaps the most scandalous is the rumor insisting that Abdul carried on a relationship with past contestant Corey Clark. The former contestant insists that Abdul tried to keep him quiet by offering him $2 million to "fund his career". Next, magazines started saying that Abdul has a drug problem and her eating disorder has resurfaced. Only time will tell how much of the rumors are true and how much of it is just gossip. Either way, ABC has secretly been working on a huge Idol expose that may or may not air in the future. I look forward to checking that out.

Chris The Convict?!?

Chris Shelton Posted by Hello

So apparently Chris Shelton is having a bad week. First reports circulated that he was arrested for causing a scene at a Vegas hotel over a $20 bill. Then his week got worse when he was booted off of the show. It is even reported that Chris cried after being booted. Thankfully, Chris has recovered enough to go on show's and make the most out of his 15 min of fame.

Angie, You're A Loser

Angie Craigblnkenhorn Posted by Hello

Last week's episode of The Apprentice was inspired by Fashion Week in New York. On the episode both teams were ask to design a line of clothing that was "wearable technology". Each team was given a $5000 Visa giftcard to make purchases. Tensions ran high when Chris left the giftcard at Best Buy after making purchases. If the card was not retrieved the team would have to forfeit the challenge. When Chris went to find his card, the store's employees could not find it. Chris was forced to hang out at the store for an hour until managers found the card. During the presentations of the clothing lines, Angie froze and did a horrible job. In the boardroom Trump called Angie a loser and pointed out that she had been to the boardroom six weeks in a row and then quickly fired her.

Britney and Hubby Get Real

Brit and Kevin Posted by Hello

So Britney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline have done what any self respecting couple does and went and got themselves a reality TV show. The show will air on UPN and will apparently document the couples daily lives. It will focus on the courtship between Spears and Federline because apparently America doesn't get enough of the odd couple. On the show, Spears hopes to clear up some of the couples past misunderstandings and show how in love they are. I know I will be tuning in, even if it is just for a good laugh.

Big Week in Reality TV

So this past week has been HUGE for reality TV!!! Delaware was on The Simple Life and a contestant quit on American Idol. First up, the Simple Life..

The Simple Life
So when rumors started flying last semester that Fox's show The Simple Life had rolled into Delaware, I was a little Skeptical. Why would they come to Delaware, other than to make fun of it?!? But alas, the show did tape here and the show's stars Nicole and Paris did not make fun of Delaware at all. During the episode the girls worked at a Wilmington daycare. It seemed as if the girls actually enjoyed their job and they didn't actually screw anything up. The girls were even nice to their host family and made over the youngest childs room. If the episode didn't take place in Delaware I would have thought it was one of the most boring ones yet! I kind of missed the girls high-jinx. Maybe next time the girls will get back to their old ways!
ps. Episode was filmed in my old neighborhood. Thought that was kind of neat!

American Idol
In a American Idol shocker, Mario Vasquez put his hopes of fame and money aside and walked off the show. Claiming personal reasons, Mario called producers Sunday afternoon to share his decision. Quick thinking producers quickly added recently cast off Nikko Smith back to the line up. This incident marks the first time a contestant has ever walked off the show.

Bachelorette Shocker!!!

So the show The Bachelorette.has wound down, bringing yet another season to an end. In the season finale, Jen Schefft had to choose between to finalist and get engaged to one... Only SHE DIDN'T!!!! In a finale shocker, Jen chooses Jerry, but reject his proposal. So is anyone else getting tired of this show? Although Jen might have angered ABC execs I feel she is the only smart one on the show. Out of the past few seasons only one couple, that I can think of, has actually lasted! The show is more of a competition then and actual search for love. I think next season I will find a better use of my time.
